Marcellus Shale: A Region on the Rise

As I am sure that most of you are aware, our region is currently experiencing one of the hottest natural gas booms in the world. With the discovery of the Marcellus Shale formation, Energy-based companies have been relocating to our region in extraordinary numbers to capitalize on the business opportunities that this formation presents.

In addition, local companies are now — or should I say "must now" — adjust their business model to adjust to the economic boom created by tapping into the formation's vast resources. According to a study by Penn State, the "Marcellus Shale development is expected to create 98,000 Pennsylvania jobs by 2010 and pump $14.17 billion into the state's economy."

This is a great opportunity for our area and for our clients to capitalize upon. From drilling operators and land leasing companies to equipment and service providers (and even retail and service-driven companies), the industrial growth thanks to the Marcellus Shale formation has already been visible. As we have continued to work with both local and national companies on their 'Marcellus Plans', we ask all business in the region to look at your marketing plans and decide whether or not you are positioned to benefit from this industry. Social Media Seminar

Asayo Creative's President Damian Ferek will be hosting a seminar on social media at the next Morgantown Area Chamber's Small Business Breakfast Seminar. Social media is promoting your website or business through online channels that reach thousands of people across the world. It's a valued tool for clients to keep connected with their target audiences, and is essentially free. There is no other low-cost promotional tool out there! The seminar will start with an overview of what social media is, how it can benefit your company, and how you can get involved with it. ASAYO IS MOVING OFFICES

Asayo Creative will be moving their office from Pleasant street to the Cheat Lake area. The move will take place the first weekend in June and business will resume the following Monday.

The address for the new office will be 728 Tyrone Rd. , Morgantown, W.V. 26508. Phone numbers for the office will remain the same.

With the growth of Asayo Creative and Stick LLC, the new office will allow more space for both companies to prosper. Although downtown has been a great location, our new location will take us away from all the daily hustle and bustle, and allow for more piece and quiet to concentrate.
